Youth Community

Our community is proud of the young adults who are involved in every facet of parish life and ministry.

We have a prayer group specifically for young adults. This group is coordinated by Ms. Laura Frodell. Laura has been directly involved in St. Joseph Youth Ministry for a number of years. If you are interested in this program call 981-1805 and leave a message for Laura.

Scouting is an essential part of any program for youth. Our parish is proud of our active, well programmed and supervised Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops. For info on our Boy Scout Troop, click here. For info on Girl Scouting, please call the parish office at 588-8456.

If you are age 14 through 20 and have graduated from the 8th grade, then you are eligible to join our Venturing Program. (for men and women) Venturing Crew 272 usually meets every other week after the 5:00 PM Sunday Mass. Members of our Crew take a leadership role in designing and providing activities for our parish youth and in providing practical service to the community in a creative way. Youth lead the Crew with adults trained to facilitate the program and act in a "shadow" leadership role. High School and College students are correctly referred to as young adults. As such you have a rightful place in any of our parish ministries. Speak with a coordinator of any of our ministries or with a priest or deacon about how you might share your talent and your youthful vision with your parish.
